It was dark coloured, bigger than a wood pigeon and had a beak that was about 4 inches long which they said curved upwards. It was initially on the main roof of our house, then flew onto the extension which was 6 metres from them so they were able to have a good look at it. They were adamant that it was a blackish colour and the beak was very long and pointed upwards.
