This morning the bright sunny conditions made a pleasant change from the gloomy weather of the past few days. The
WATER PIPIT and
SCANDINAVIAN ROCK PIPIT were both still present – both atypically perching up in trees when disturbed. The Goosander, several Wigeon and Goldeneye were still about and a few Sand Martins also flew in. Also a Raven flew south of and parallel to the Dry Canal (Roy Hargreaves)
