Dave Bilcock had another good day at Wilstone; he watched a juvenile NORTHERN GANNET fly west this afternoon while relocating a juvenile COMMON SCOTER that had earlier been on Weston Turville Reservoir. Otherwise, much the same: 3 DUNLIN, 3 RUFF, 5 BLACK-TAILED GODWITS and the 2 SCANDINAVIAN ROCK PIPITS
At neighbouring College Lake BBOWT, 4 eclipse RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS dropped into the deep lake for a while (Chris Ruckell; Paul Reed, et al) with HEN HARRIER, MERLIN and RING OUZEL all noted by visitors.
