A slight improvement in visible migration...

Did my usual slog round at IVINGHOE BEACON this morning in increasing SW winds, clear periods and occasional heavy showers but once again, little in the way of Vizmig going on.....

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was by the Beeches, 2 House Martins over the slopes, around 17 Chaffinch commuting between the Beeches and scrub, 62 Goldfinch, 2 Goldcrest and two remaining COMMON STONECHATS from last week.....

Newly arrived were a single NORTHERN WHEATEAR and COMMON STONECHAT together in the sheepfield......
