Saturday Highlights (7 March)
The first-winter female GREATER SCAUP was
showing well today where it is spending its third consecutive day on STARTOP'S
END RESERVOIR. The BARNACLE GOOSE was still around, with a pair of
OYSTERCATCHERS commuting between WILSTONE and MARSWORTH PADDOCKS and a male
COMMON STONECHAT in the Wingrave Road Cereal Fields to the north. Two CETTI'S
WARBLERS in song in MARSWORTH REEDBED, with a single COMMON CHIFFCHAFF singing
there and two on Wilstone (DB, SR, LGRE, IW, BP)
At IVINGHOE BEACON, 3 COMMON STONECHATS
along the fenceline towards the sheep pen
