Icy blast starting to reap rewards

Exciting times may lay ahead, with snow and ice forecast to continue.....

Today's highlight was the BITTERN, showing on and off throughout the day on Marsworth Reservoir, often standing out in the open on the ice; 3 DUNLINS paused on the ice there briefly and 5 in total have been seen within the vicinity

The lone COMMON SHELDUCK continues to flit between open water, whilst the DBBG remains on Wilstone and the SNOW BUNTING in the Bucks section of Startop's

A single BLACK-TAILED GODWIT and COMMON REDSHANK also landed on the Wilstone ice during the day

An interesting weekend awaits....
