SPOT SHANK still present and more GODWITS

This morning there were five adult Black-tailed Godwits on the mud to the right of the hide – they were feeding and appeared happy to stay for a while. Supporting cast was Spotted Redshank, 7 Greenshank, 8 Green Sandpipers, 7 Common Sandpipers, one adult Little Ringed Plover, 20+ Little Egrets and the juvenile Yellow-legged Gull that Ian Williams and I saw on Saturday morning reappeared for a better view (Roy Hargreaves)
