This morning the two Black-tailed Godwits were still present – it would appear that one wandered off yesterday morning to return later in the day. Also after 7:00 eight Ringed Plover dropped in onto the mud between the hide and the overflows. This and recent events only show how many waders must fly over in other years when there is no mud at this time of year. Also the juv Dunlin, c.8 Greenshank and a few Common Sandpipers were present and the regular female and fawn Chinese Water Deer also put in an appearance (Roy Hargreaves)
